In 2023, Banner officially became a B Corp™ — joining a global movement of businesses committed to balancing purpose and profit. Certification confirms what’s always been at the heart of our business: doing the right thing for people and the planet is every bit as vital as achieving strong performance and sustainable growth.

What it means to be a B Corp

B Corp certification is one of the most rigorous and holistic assessments of a company’s sustainability and ethical credentials. To qualify, businesses must score at least 80 points across five key impact areas:

Becoming a B Corp

Since achieving certification in December 2023, time as a B Corp has been both exciting and transformational. We’ve connected with a growing network of purpose-led companies at events like B Lab UK’s ‘Louder than Words’, B Locals, and PurposeFest. These communities inspire us to keep raising the bar and share our journey with others.

We’re using the B Corp framework to help embed sustainability even deeper into our culture, strategy and operations. It’s guiding our decisions, informing our future plans, and ensuring we grow with integrity.

Looking ahead

In 2026, B Lab is launching new standards that will raise the bar for all B Corps globally. As a result, our next recertification will now take place in 2027 — giving us a valuable opportunity to prepare and evolve.

To support this, we’ve joined a new Textile and Fashion B Corp Group in the UK. It’s a chance to collaborate with peers in our industry, share insights, and drive collective progress on the challenges we face together.
